DPS Hosts Annual Prize & Investiture Ceremony with Grandeur

Dalhousie; Dalhousie Public School proudly concluded its Annual Prize Distribution and Investiture Ceremony, celebrating academic excellence, co-curricular achievements, and the formal installation of the new student leadership council. The school had the honour of hosting Col. Sudhir Dhankhar, Commanding Officer, 24 Raj Rif, as the Chief Guest, whose presence added dignity and inspiration to the occasion.

The event began with the Declamation Contest Finals, where students impressed the audience with their eloquence, confidence, and critical thinking as they addressed contemporary themes with clarity and conviction.

This was followed by the Prize Distribution Ceremony, recognising outstanding performers across various fields. A key highlight was the Investiture Ceremony, during which newly appointed student leaders took their oaths. The school proudly announced:

  • School Head Boy: Aarush Choudhary

  • School Head Girl: Harmanjit Kaur

  • Best Student (Girls), Class XII: Tanisha Razdan

  • Best Student (Boys), Class XII: Krishav Mahajan

Addressing the gathering, Col. Dhankhar praised the students’ discipline and confidence, saying that Dalhousie Public School is nurturing young citizens who embody integrity, responsibility, and a deep sense of service to the nation.
Echoing this, Dr. (Capt.) G. S. Dhillon, Chairman & Director, applauded the students' perseverance and commitment, noting that their dedication reflects the true spirit of leadership.

The ceremony concluded with a fellowship lunch in honour of the Chief Guest and dignitaries. The school extended heartfelt gratitude to Col. Dhankhar for gracing the event and making it a memorable occasion.
