January 05, 2026 08:29 AM

Shimla:The historic Peterhoff complex in Shimla turned into a vibrant centre of ideas and opportunity on Saturday as Day Two of HIM MSME Fest 2026 unfolded as a high-impact platform for entrepreneurship, investment and policy dialogue. Beyond a routine programme, the day emerged as a meaningful exchange where ambition met opportunity, giving clear direction to Himachal Pradesh’s industrial growth roadmap.

The day began at 11:00 am with the Women Entrepreneurs Conference, marked by inspiration and resilience. Industry Minister Shri Harshvardhan Chauhan interacted with women entrepreneurs from across the State, who shared their journeys from struggle to success. Discussions on access to finance, market linkages and networking strengthened the message that women in Himachal Pradesh are fast emerging as key drivers of economic growth.

Running parallel, the Startup Investor Meet and Pitch Sessions offered a dynamic platform to young innovators. Startups showcased technology-driven and socially impactful business ideas before investors, drawing keen interest and constructive feedback. The session reflected the growing aspiration among youth to become job creators rather than job seekers.

The momentum intensified in the afternoon with the CEO Roundtable Conference and One-to-One Meetings held at 3:00 pm in the presence of Hon’ble Chief Minister Shri Thakur Sukhvinder Singh Sukhu. Leading CEOs, policymakers and investors engaged in candid discussions on industrial policy, MSME challenges, investment facilitation and long-term growth strategies. The deliberations highlighted a shared resolve to position Himachal Pradesh as an investor-friendly and future-ready industrial destination.

Adding a strong market-connect dimension, the One District One Product (ODOP) Buyer–Seller Meet, organized in collaboration with Invest India, connected local and traditional products of the State with national and international buyers. The initiative opened new market opportunities for artisans and producers, strengthening the State’s “Local to Global” vision.

The day concluded with informal interactions and a networking dinner, fostering collaboration in a relaxed yet purposeful atmosphere. Overall, Day Two of HIM MSME Fest 2026 emerged not just as a platform for dialogue, but as a significant step towards shaping Himachal Pradesh’s industrial and entrepreneurial future.
