BBN: A grand Virat Hindu Sammelan was organised under the banner of the Sakal Hindu Samaj at the GS Resort Amravati in Baddi, Nalagarh district, drawing a massive gathering of devotees. The event witnessed participation from more than 5,100 Sanatani followers from 10 localities of Baddi as part of the Sangh’s centenary year celebrations.

Addressing the gathering, VHP central guide council member and renowned orator Sadhvi Prachi urged mothers to focus on family awakening and value-based upbringing. She appealed to the maternal power of society to prevent children from falling into mobile addiction and instead encourage them to learn both shastra and shastra. She said children should be imparted strong cultural values so that they grow inspired by ideals such as Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj, Maharana Pratap and Rani Lakshmibai, rather than drifting away from Indian traditions under Western influence. She remarked that children should be guided to admire freedom fighters like Bhagat Singh instead of being influenced by popular culture icons.

Referring to the construction of the Ram Temple in Ayodhya, Sadhvi Prachi said the atmosphere of joy and celebration witnessed across the world then must be recreated once again. She added that the day would be truly blessed when national leadership openly declares a complete ban on cow slaughter in India. She also said that organisations like the RSS have played a vital role in fostering social harmony, citing examples such as shared participation in common dining, worship and cremation practices as symbols of unity.

National Swayamsevak Sangh regional intellectual training head Harish Kumar highlighted the 100-year journey of the RSS and called upon the youth to follow the ideals of Swami Vivekananda. Explaining the concept of Panch Parivartan, he stressed the importance of using indigenous products, fulfilling civic duties, eliminating caste discrimination to promote social harmony, strengthening the joint family system through family awakening, and developing a sense of self-awareness. He also emphasised the need for Hindu society to remain united, drawing attention to incidents of violence against Hindus in foreign countries.

The programme was also addressed by Sikh representative Gurpal, district Sanghchalak Mahesh Kumar and other speakers, whose motivational speeches echoed across the pandal amid loud slogans and applause.

Among those present were district karyavah Shravan Kumar, state samrasta pramukh pracharak Jitendra Kumar, nagar pracharak Deepak Kumar, Suruchi Sharma, nagar sahyojak Vinod Kumar, nagar karyavah Yashkar Pal, Shri Ram Sena convenor Rajesh Jindal, Saraswati Mandir Gularwala principal Anju Patial, Kavita, Shanti Gautam, Vandana Kaushal, Arushi, Rakesh Kumar, Pradeep Kumar, Kapil Sharma from self-help organisations, Swarn Thakur, Swastik Gautam from ABVP, Ravi Verma, Satish Dudwa, Satish Jain, Sanjeev Thakur Golu, former MLA Parmjeet Singh, Raj Sandhu, Pankaj Kumar, Bhoomesh Kumar, Dr Shrikant, Ashish, Shri Narayan and several others.
