New Delhi: Delhi Sikh Gurdwara Management Committee President Sardar Harmeet Singh Kalka and general secretary Sardar Jagdeep Singh Kahlon have extended heartfelt greetings to the sikh sangat residing in India and abroad on the sacred occasion of the completion day of Jagat Jyoti, Dhan Dhan Sri Guru Granth Sahib Ji.
In their message, Sardar Harmeet Singh Kalka and Sardar Jagdeep Singh Kahlon said that Sri Guru Granth Sahib Ji is an eternal source of divine light and guidance for all humanity. Both said that the sacred Gurbani enshrined in Sri Guru Granth Sahib Ji guides humankind towards truth, humility, service, love, equality and mutual brotherhood.
Both leaders appealed to the entire sangat to make the sacred Bani of Sri Guru Granth Sahib Ji the guiding principle of their lives and, on this holy occasion, to resolve firmly to put into practice the principles of service to humanity, darbat da bhala and universal brotherhood as enshrined in gurbani.
They said that the sacred Gurbani of Sri Guru Granth Sahib Ji conveys a universal message of peace, harmony and chardi kala to all humanity. Both leaders stressed that there is an urgent need to imbibe this universal message of gurbani in our lives and further strengthen the spirit of love, service and brotherhood in society.
