Delivering the keynote address, Sh. Vivek Atray spoke about the essence of human values and the significance of self-realization over material success. Citing examples like John D. Rockefeller, he underscored the need for educators to model ethical conduct and promote value-driven education.

The FDP is being guided by Mr. Ajay Kumar Pal (Resource Person), with Dr. Manisha Gupta (Co-facilitator) and Dr. Yashveer (Observer). Local Programme Coordinators Dr. Sheojee Singh and Dr. Nisha Singh are overseeing the event.

Day one academic sessions included presentations by Mr. Pal on holistic development, self-exploration, and sustainable happiness. He introduced a framework based on right understanding of the self, harmony in relationships, and alignment with nature. Dr. Manisha Gupta’s session, drawing on the “Story of Stuff,” critiqued consumerist tendencies and emphasized internal harmony, ethical living, and coexistence of self and body.

Rapporteurs Dr. Anjali Puri, Dr. Balwinder Kaur, and Dr. Anurag Sakhian documented the proceedings. The day concluded with a vote of thanks by Dr. Sheojee Singh, expressing appreciation to all dignitaries, speakers, and participants.
