Shimla: Himachal Pradesh National Law University (HPNLU), Shimla, under the leadership of Hon’ble Vice Chancellor Prof. (Dr.) Priti Saxena, proudly announces the signing of a significant Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) between the National Institute of Social Defence (NISD), under the Ministry of Social Justice and Empowerment, Government of India, and five other premier institutions. The MoU exchange took place on 24 April 2026 during the Chintan Shivir held in Chandigarh, marking a major collaborative step toward advancing joint training, research initiatives, and strengthening social welfare interventions in the field of social defence.
Prof. (Dr.) Alok Kumar, Registrar, HPNLU, Shimla, attended the MoU signing ceremony as the designated Nodal Officer on behalf of the University. His participation reflects HPNLU’s proactive engagement in fostering institutional partnerships aligned with national priorities in social defence and empowerment.
