Chandigarh- Haryana Education Minister Sh. Mahipal Dhanda paid a courtesy call on Haryana Governor Prof. Ashim Kumar Ghosh at Lok Bhavan here today.
During the meeting, the Governor and the Education Minister held detailed discussions on various issues concerning the education sector in Haryana, with a focus on strengthening the quality, accessibility, and overall development of education in the state.
Governor Prof. Ashim Kumar Ghosh also reviewed the status of universities in Haryana. Briefing the Governor, Education Minister Sh. Mahipal Dhanda said that the Haryana Government, under the leadership of Chief Minister Sh. Nayab Singh Saini, has been implementing several initiatives to make quality education accessible to every section of society, with special emphasis on students from economically weaker sections and girls across the state.
The Education Minister also apprised the Governor of the state's ongoing efforts to strengthen higher education institutions, enhance academic infrastructure, and promote inclusive and equitable educational opportunities in line with the government's vision of providing quality education for all.
