Yamunanagar Police spokesperson said that working under guidance of Superintendent of Police Kamaldeep Goyal, Anti-Narcotics Cell team arrested an accused who had been absconding for past two years on drug trafficking charges. Accused was produced in court and remanded to judicial custody. In-charge Anil Kumar stated that on June 10, 2024, his team arrested Rohit alias Goldy of Purana Hamida with 10 grams of heroin.During interrogation, he confessed to having obtained drugs from Saral alias Shanky, a resident of Shanti Colony, Shani Mandir Road. Team arrested Saral who was produced in court and remanded to judicial custody. In-charge stated that accused had been absconding for past two years and that his team had filed a case in 2024.
