New Delhi: President of the Delhi Sikh Gurdwara Management Committee, Harmeet Singh Kalka, stated that the generous contribution of ₹1 crore by Surender Pal Singh Saluja and his family to the Delhi Sikh Gurdwara Management Committee is a shining example of selfless service, dedication, and unwavering commitment to the sikh panth.Kalka said that it was a matter of great pride and privilege for the DSGMC to honour the Saluja family for their remarkable generosity. He added that the family had extended this significant support after being inspired by the DSGMC's continuous efforts in promoting the sikh faith, education, healthcare, humanitarian service, and various social welfare initiatives.
He further remarked that the Saluja family's contribution is not merely a financial donation but also a strong expression of faith and confidence in the DSGMC's mission of serving humanity and working for the welfare of society. Such noble acts of philanthropy, he said, inspire many others to come forward and contribute towards community service and charitable causes.
On the occasion, DSGMC general secretary Jagdeep Singh Kahlon expressed his heartfelt gratitude to Surinder Pal Singh Saluja and his entire family for their unconditional support.
