Chandigarh: Punjab Chief Minister Bhagwant Mann launched a sharp attack on the Modi government, accusing it of reversing its own major decisions. Mann said that the GST was initially introduced by the Centre as a “masterstroke,” but the same government is now projecting GST cuts and reforms as a new “masterstroke” to provide cheaper goods to people.
“First they increase it, then they decrease it. This is not how governance works,” Mann remarked, taking a dig at the ruling BJP government for inconsistency in its economic policies.
