FATEHGARH SAHIB: The second day of the three-day Third International Conference on *“Sri Guru Granth Sahib: A Multi-Disciplinary Perspective” at Sri Guru Granth Sahib World University, Fatehgarh Sahib, in collaboration with the Sikh Education Council (U.K.), focused on Languages and Social Sciences.
Eminent scholars, faculty, and researchers from various universities presented papers exploring the spiritual, literary, linguistic, and sociological dimensions of Sri Guru Granth Sahib Ji.
Prominent guests included Advocate Amardeep Singh Dharni, Prof. Satnam Singh Sandhu, Prof. Swaraj Raj, Prof. Daljeet Singh, Dr. Jaswant Singh, and S. Harvinder Singh. They highlighted the universality and contemporary relevance of Guru Sahib’s message of ethics, education, and social harmony.
Guests were felicitated by Dr. Sikander Singh, Dr. Harneet Billing, Dr. Ankdeep Kaur Attwal, Dr. Nav Shagandeep Kaur and Dr. Harpreet Kaur.
The sessions reflected the University’s commitment to promoting interfaith dialogue, cultural understanding, and academic excellence. Co-convener Dr. Hardev Singh informed that the conference will conclude tomorrow with sessions on Religious Studies, Science, and Engineering, followed by the valedictory ceremony.
