Shimla- Vice Chancellor of Dr. Y.S. Parmar University of Horticulture and Forestry, Nauni, Prof. R.S. Chandel presented a cheque of Rs. 25,66,606 to Chief Minister Thakur Sukhvinder Singh Sukhu towards the Chief Minister Relief Fund as contribution of one day salary of staff of the University here today.
The Chief Minister thanked for the noble gesture and said that such contributions go a long way in helping the needy in distress. He appealed to the people to contribute towards this fund generously. President of Teachers Association of University Dr. B.S. Dilta, President Personal Staff Association Rakesh Kumar Handa besides others staff members and union presidents were also present on the occasion.
