Shimla: HIM MSME Fest 2026 will emerge as a vibrant platform for industry and entrepreneurship, while providing substantial benefits and festive opportunities for consumers across Himachal. For the first time, a dedicated Factory Outlet Zone will be introduced, featuring approximately 50 stalls from established and reputable factory outlets.

Dr. Yunus, (IAS), Director, Industries, informed that these stalls will showcase products from well-known and trusted brands, with the initiative completely focused on advancing consumer interests.

A wide array of products will be available under one roof at the Factory Outlet Zone during the HIM MSME Fest 2026. These encompass food products and ready-to-eat items, handlooms, textiles and traditional attire, household appliances, leather goods and sports shoes, bakery and packaged foods, alongside local and traditional Himachali products highlighting the state's rich cultural heritage, artisanal skills, and the superior quality standards of MSMEs.

The factory outlet model fosters direct interaction between producers and consumers, ensuring competitive pricing alongside consistent quality. This not only enhances affordability in shopping but also builds transparency and trust. The zone promises advantages for consumers while opening promising avenues for MSME-based brands.

Small and medium enterprises will benefit from direct market linkage through the Factory Outlet Zone, gaining brand visibility, customer insights, and expanded sales. Positioned as a key highlight of HIM MSME Fest 2026, the zone will attract families for shopping and offer an up-close view of practical entrepreneurship. This step significantly bolsters Himachal Pradesh's industrial and entrepreneurial ecosystem, delivering value to both consumers and producers.
