Pehowa: BJP Haryana Legal Cell member Sushant Bharti on Saturday said the state government, under the leadership of Chief Minister Nayab Singh Saini, is committed to transparent and accountable governance while implementing welfare schemes for all sections of society.
Bharti was addressing a public outreach programme at the residence of former sarpanch Gyan in Chuniya Farm village, where he interacted with residents and briefed them on various government initiatives for rural development and farmers' welfare.
He said the government's objective is to ensure that the benefits of development reach every section of society. According to him, efforts are being made to strengthen rural infrastructure, including roads, drinking water supply, electricity, education and healthcare services.
Highlighting agriculture-related initiatives, Bharti said the government is encouraging farmers to adopt modern farming techniques, diversify crops, expand irrigation facilities and make use of various agricultural welfare schemes aimed at enhancing farm income.
He urged villagers to obtain information about government welfare programmes and avail themselves of the benefits available to eligible beneficiaries, claiming that the schemes are being implemented without discrimination.
During the interaction, residents raised several local issues. Bharti assured them that their concerns would be taken up with the concerned departments for appropriate action.
Former sarpanch Gyan, John Pal, Surender Singh, Satish Chopra, Jagat Singh, Sukhdev Singh, sarpanch Dinesh, Baldev Singh, Subhash and other villagers were present at the programme. Participants also discussed development-related issues and expressed their commitment to contributing to the progress of the village.
