Chandigarh: The Bhakra Beas Management Board (BBMB) organized a blood donation camp in memory of its former Chairman, Major General B. N. Kumar, at the BBMB Rest House, Sector 35, Chandigarh. The camp was inaugurated by Er. Manoj Tripathi, Chairman, BBMB, who urged everyone to participate in such noble acts of humanity, emphasizing that blood donation is among the greatest ways to serve society.
More than 100 officers and employees enthusiastically donated blood, reflecting BBMB’s strong commitment to compassion and social welfare. The event also commemorated the remarkable contributions and leadership of Major General B. N. Kumar.
In addition, BBMB celebrated the 150th Commemorative Day of “Vande Mataram” with a mass singing of the national song, which saw participation from over 100 members, filling the venue with patriotic fervor. Chairman Er. Manoj Tripathi honoured all blood donors with mementoes and appreciated the BBMB fraternity for their active participation, dedication, and spirit of service towards the nation.
