Direct PRTC Bus Service Launched from Tripuri to Rajpura: Chairman Harpal Juneja

Patiala: In a major relief for commuters, PEPSU Road Transport Corporation (PRTC) Chairman Advocate Harpal Juneja on Thursday flagged off a new direct PRTC bus service from Tripuri to Rajpura, dedicating it to the public.


The demand for a direct bus service between Tripuri and Rajpura had been raised by the Bahawalpur Welfare Foundation, Tripuri, along with local residents. Giving priority to public convenience, Chairman Juneja acted promptly on the request and formally inaugurated the service.


Representatives of the Bahawalpur Welfare Foundation and local residents expressed their gratitude to the PRTC Chairman, stating that the new bus service would greatly benefit students, office-goers, traders and daily commuters from Tripuri and nearby areas by providing direct connectivity to Rajpura, saving both time and inconvenience.


Speaking on the occasion, Chairman Harpal Juneja reiterated PRTC's commitment to strengthening public transport services and ensuring better connectivity for commuters across Punjab.


Among those present were Patiala Depot General Manager Jatinderpal Singh Grewal, Advocate Rahul Saini, Ravinderpal Singh Lamba (District Media In-charge), Mohit Kukreja (District Social Media In-charge), Deepak Mittal (Block President), Bhupinder Singh (Block President), Councillor Davinder Kaur, Ravinder Singh Ravi, Shivraj Singh, Shankar Khurana and Neha Kukreja.
