Cabinet Minister Distributes ₹6.75 Crore Development Grants to Sanaur Village Panchayats

Patiala : Under the Punjab Government’s special initiative for the comprehensive development of villages, led by Chief Minister Bhagwant Singh Mann, the Sanaur Assembly constituency received another major development boost on Wednesday. Punjab Cabinet Minister Barinder Kumar Goyal distributed grant cheques worth ₹6.75 crore to sarpanches of various villages in the constituency for carrying out development works.


The cheques were distributed during a public gathering held at Hadana village under the leadership of Sanaur constituency in-charge Ranjodh Singh Hadana. The overwhelming public participation turned the event into a massive show of support.


Addressing the gathering, Cabinet Minister Barinder Kumar Goyal lauded the leadership and growing popularity of Ranjodh Singh Hadana, stating that the Aam Aadmi Party continues to strengthen its base in the Sanaur constituency. He said the Punjab Government is committed to transforming rural infrastructure and ensuring that there is no shortage of funds for village development.


Expressing gratitude to Chief Minister Bhagwant Singh Mann and Cabinet Minister Barinder Kumar Goyal, Ranjodh Singh Hadana said the government's sole objective is to ensure that the benefits of development reach every village and hamlet in the constituency.


He said the ₹6.75 crore grant would significantly improve infrastructure and basic amenities across the constituency. “Development works will be carried out in every village without any discrimination. I remain indebted to the people of Sanaur for their trust and support and will continue to serve them with complete dedication,” he added.
A large number of serving and former sarpanches, panches, Aam Aadmi Party leaders, and local residents were present on the occasion.
