Chandigarh- Haryana Education Minister, Sh. Mahipal Dhanda on Wednesday paid a courtesy visit to Union Defence Minister Sh. Rajnath Singh at his official residence in New Delhi. During the meeting, detailed discussions were held on various contemporary issues of public importance, particularly those concerning the development of Haryana. The Education Minister also sought the Defence Minister's guidance on matters relating to public welfare and education reforms.
During the interaction, Sh. Mahipal Dhanda apprised the Defence Minister of the Haryana Government's initiatives in the education sector, including innovative reforms, infrastructure development and the effective implementation of the National Education Policy (NEP) 2020. He said the State Government is making sustained efforts to provide quality, skill-oriented and value-based education to prepare the youth for a brighter future.
The Education Minister said the guidance of senior and experienced leaders serves as a constant source of inspiration in taking forward the State's development and public welfare agenda. He described the meeting with the Defence Minister as highly positive and enriching, adding that the valuable suggestions received during the interaction would help the State Government implement public welfare programmes and educational policies more effectively.
During the meeting, Union Defence Minister Sh. Rajnath Singh appreciated the initiatives being undertaken by the Haryana Government to improve the quality of education, promote skill development and create better opportunities for the youth. He advised the Education Minister to accord special emphasis to policies that foster patriotism, moral values and modern technological knowledge among young people.
Detailed discussions were also held on several issues relating to the State's development, youth empowerment and social harmony. Sh. Mahipal Dhanda reaffirmed the Haryana Government's commitment to making Haryana a leading State in the fields of education and public welfare under the guidance of the Central leadership.
