New Delhi: Delhi Sikh Gurdwara Management Committee President Sardar Harmeet Singh Kalka today extended his heartfelt greetings and best wishes to the sikh sangat across the globe on the sacred occasion of the Prakash Purab of the Eighth Sikh Guru, Sri Guru Harkrishan Sahib Ji.
Kalka said that despite his tender age, Sri Guru Harkrishan Sahib Ji illuminated the world with the timeless values of selfless service, compassion, humility, kindness, and philanthropy, leaving an everlasting imprint on sikh history. He added that during the epidemic in Delhi, Guru Sahib devoted his life to serving the afflicted and suffering with unparalleled selflessness, setting an eternal example of humanitarian service that continues to inspire people across the world.
He urged the sangat to commemorate the Prakash Purab by embracing Guru Sahib’s teachings in their daily lives and renewing their commitment to selfless service, meditation on the divine, compassion, and the noble principle of sarbat da bhala (the welfare of all). Kalka also offered prayers for the continued blessings of Sri Guru Harkrishan Sahib Ji upon humanity, wishing that every home be filled with peace, prosperity, high spirits, and everlasting happiness.
