DALHOUSIE; The Dalhousie branch of the District Red Cross Society organised a Red Cross Fair in Dalhousie today, which was inaugurated by the Deputy Commissioner of Chamba, Mukesh Repswal, who attended as the chief guest.
Chairman of Dalhousie Public School, Dr. Captain G.S. Dhillon, extended a floral welcome to Deputy Commissioner Mukesh Repswal on his arrival at the venue.
The fair witnessed enthusiastic participation from local residents and school children of Dalhousie. Various food and activity stalls were set up, adding to the festive atmosphere. Deputy Commissioner Repswal visited all the stalls, appreciated their efforts, and presented mementos to the stall organisers as a token of recognition.
Attractions such as a tambola game, dog show, and baby show were also held, drawing considerable interest from visitors. The chief guest presented prizes to the winners of both the dog show and baby show.
During the event, SDM Dalhousie Anil Bhardwaj and Tehsildar Ramesh Chauhan felicitated the chief guest with a memento.
The programme was also attended by SDM Anil Bhardwaj, Tehsildar Ramesh Chauhan, Dalhousie Public School Chairman Dr. Captain G.S. Dhillon, Guru Nanak Public School Principal Navdeep Bhandari, DSP Dalhousie Mayank Sharma, and Dalhousie Police SHO Jagbir Singh.
