BILASPUR: NTPC Limited, India’s premier energy powerhouse, celebrated its 51st Foundation Day with grandeur and pride, marking the successful completion of its Golden Jubilee year. The celebrations at NTPC Koldam Project were held with immense enthusiasm, reflecting the organization’s legacy of excellence, sustainability, and nation-building.
The ceremony began with Project Head Subhash Thakur hoisting the NTPC flag amidst resounding applause from employees, associates, and department heads. Addressing the gathering, Thakur lauded the relentless dedication and commitment of NTPC’s workforce over the past five decades, which has propelled the company to become a global benchmark in power generation and green energy innovation.
“Over these five decades, NTPC has illuminated millions of lives, strengthened India’s economy, and pioneered the transition toward clean, sustainable energy,” said Thakur. “This remarkable journey is a testament to the unwavering efforts of every NTPCian who has contributed to the nation’s progress.”
Highlighting the achievements of the NTPC Koldam Project, he noted that in 2025, the station not only surpassed its design energy targets ahead of schedule but also maintained exceptional operational efficiency and strengthened its social responsibility initiatives across nearby communities.
The occasion was further enlivened by a walkathon and tree plantation drive, where employees and their families participated with great zeal. These activities underscored NTPC’s continued commitment to environmental stewardship, wellness, and unity.
