Bilaspur,— Bhartiya Janta Party (BJP) State Organization General Secretary Siddharthan has called upon party workers to mobilize with renewed energy for the 2027 Himachal Assembly Elections, asserting that the party’s performance in the next two decades will be crucial in fulfilling Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s vision of a developed and self-reliant India by 2047.
Addressing a joint meeting of all party fronts from the Sadar and Bilaspur divisions at the BJP district office, Siddharthan said that the path to victory in 2027 and beyond lies in the mantra of “My Booth – Strongest.” He emphasized that booth-level organization, personal interaction with the public, and consistent grassroots engagement would ensure the BJP’s dominance in Bilaspur and across Himachal Pradesh.
Drawing parallels with Gujarat, where the BJP has been in power for nearly 35 years, Siddharthan credited the state’s long-standing success to the dedication of booth-level workers. He urged Himachal’s workers to adopt a similar model of discipline and public connection. Spending even 2–3 hours daily at the booth, meeting people, understanding their issues, and helping resolve them can, he said, guarantee a saffron flag at every booth.
Launching a strong attack on the Congress government, Siddharthan said that the party’s foundation rests on falsehoods. He remarked that the Congress’s “10 Guarantees” have collapsed in Himachal just as they did in Bihar, exposing the party’s hollow promises. Since Congress came to power in the state, he said, unemployment, corruption, anarchy, and mafia activities have escalated.
Siddharthan announced that the BJP will soon launch a statewide public awareness campaign to highlight the Congress government’s failures and mismanagement. He reminded party workers that elections will be held in Himachal every two years, making consistent field presence non-negotiable.
The meeting witnessed the presence of several senior leaders, including Sadar MLA Trilok Jamwal, former MP Suresh Chandel, BJP General Secretary and district in-charge Payal Vaidya, Hamirpur parliamentary constituency expansionist Amit, district co-incharge Deshraj, district president Krishnalal Chandel, former president Swatantra Sankhyan, Sadar Mandal president Hansraj Thakur, and Bilaspur Mandal president Pawan Thakur, along with a large number of office-bearers and workers.
